Carondelet Health Network is seeking a full-time Daytime Hospitalist for St. Joseph's Hospital in Tucson, AZ. This role offers a unique opportunity to join a nationally recognized center of excellence in stroke, cardiac, and pulmonary care within a mission-driven Catholic hospital system. The position emphasizes work-life balance through shift-based block scheduling, allowing providers to deliver high-quality care while enjoying the exceptional quality of life Tucson offers.

Practice Info

  • Specialty: Daytime Hospitalist - full-time, employed position at St. Joseph's Hospital, Tucson, AZ
  • Shift Coverage: 1 swing shift and 1 nocturnist on rotation
  • Team Support: Two APPs during day shifts, one APP overnight
  • Patient Volume: Average daily census of 18 patients with 1-2 admissions per shift
  • ICU Model: Closed ICU - Intensivist and IV Team provide procedure support
  • Teaching Opportunity: Optional involvement in teaching internal medicine residents
