Senior Adult Daycare Assistant

Location: Flatbush Adult Daycare
Employment Type: Full-Time / Part-Time
Department: Adult Day Care Services

Job Summary:
We are looking for a reliable and caring Daycare Assistant to support the daily operations of our adult day care center. The Daycare Assistant will help provide services to senior members, assist with activities, serve meals, maintain cleanliness, and support a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment. This is a multitasking position that requires patience, responsibility, and the ability to work well with seniors and staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist senior members during daily activities and provide general support as needed.

  • Prepare and provide supplies and tools for arts, crafts, games, and other recreational activities.

  • Assist with breakfast and lunch service, including setting up, serving meals, and cleaning up afterward.

  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized environment throughout the center.

  • Clean tables, chairs, activity areas, dining areas, and common areas as needed.

  • Support staff with daily center operations and member supervision.

  • Communicate respectfully and patiently with senior members.

  • Report any member concerns, safety issues, or incidents to management immediately.

  • Follow center policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
