Physician (MD/DO) – VA Disability Exams | $1,200–$1,300/Day | No Treatment | Flexible Schedule

Location: Orange Park, Florida
Job Type: Part-Time | Flexible | Weekend Availability
Setting: Outpatient Clinic

Compensation
  • $1,200–$1,300 per day
  • Consistent, structured clinic days
  • Optional travel opportunities available

Position Highlights
  • Evaluation-only role – no ongoing patient care
  • No call, no after-hours responsibilities
  • Light workload: only 2–4 exams per day
  • Web-based documentation system for efficiency
  • Strong clinical and administrative support provided

Schedule
  • 1 day per week (weekend availability preferred)
  • 8-hour day: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
  • Flexible scheduling options

What You’ll Do
  • Conduct one-time disability evaluations for U.S. Veterans
  • Review medical records prior to each exam
  • Perform Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) assessments when applicable
  • Complete Disability Benefits Questionnaires (DBQs) and medical opinions
  • Document findings using a streamlined, web-based system
  • Submit completed reports within 24 hours

Qualifications
  • MD or DO, Board Certified or Board Eligible in:
    • Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
    • Neurology
    • Neurosurgery
    • Psychiatry
  • Active, unrestricted U.S. medical license
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience
  • TBI experience preferred (not required)
  • Strong documentation and time management skills
