The MEP Superintendent oversees the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) scopes of construction projects in the field. Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day MEP activities and subcontractors in the field.
- Review drawings, specifications, and project requirements for MEP systems.
- Monitor installation for quality, safety, and compliance with project documents.
- Coordinate MEP work with structural, architectural, and other construction activities.
- Identify and help resolve field conflicts, constructability issues, and schedule impacts.
- Participate in coordination meetings and communicate progress and concerns to the project team.
- Monitor MEP schedules, milestones, inspections, testing, and system turnover.
- Assist with commissioning and project closeout activities.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
Qualifications
- Construction experience with mechanical, electrical, plumbing, or related building systems.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong field coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively with subcontractors, project management, design teams, and other field personnel.
- Prior supervisory or superintendent experience preferred.
- Data center, mission-critical, or large commercial construction experience preferred.
