Job description

Build the Tools That Shape the Automotive Industry
Join the ArtiFlex Manufacturing team - where your craftsmanship directly supports the production of high-quality tooling and dies for leading automotive customers. We're looking for an experienced Tool & Die Maker to join us and play a critical role in building new tooling. We have opportunities on both Day Shift and Night Shift.
What ArtiFlex Diemakers do:
  • Assemble and Tryout medium to large transfer dies for new tooling programs.
  • Ensure tooling meets dimensional and functional requirements.
  • Implement Engineering changes and ensure accurate updates to dies throughout the process.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, CAD data, and job orders to plan builds and modifications.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and refine dies for optimal performance.
  • Work closely with Engineering, Production, and Program Management to meet deadlines and quality standards.

What a skilled Diemaker should bring:
  • Tool & Die Journeyman card preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience building and troubleshooting metal stamping dies.
  • Strong understanding of die construction, fit, finish, and surface quality-especially for Class A panels.
  • Proficiency in blueprint reading and precision measurement.
  • Excellent mechanical problem-solving and attention to detail.

Shift: Day Shift employees work Monday - Friday, with possible Saturdays if work warrants.
Night Shift employees typically work Monday - Friday 4 PM - 2:30 AM, or longer if work warrants. Very rare will we ask Night Shift to work a weekend shift.
Pay: Based on experience, and Night Shift employees earn night-shift premium of 10% in addition to base wage.
