JOB DESCRIPTION:

POSITION PURPOSE

Responsible for fabrication, supermarket, and assembly operations while managing the efficient flow of materials throughout the plant.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Follow all safety practices and procedures in the plant, including ensuring co-workers are adhering to all safety requirements

  • Perform assembly operations on window and door components in a manufacturing environment, following designated workstation and assembly area processes

  • Operate various machinery and production tools to fabricate quality products

  • Rotate between multiple workstations during each shift to support operational coverage, maintain workflow efficiency and ensure production continuity

  • Show initiative by seeking additional responsibilities, building knowledge of Andersen's products, and working collaboratively as part of a team to assist coworkers when needed

  • Produce high quality work that conforms to companyin accordance with established company standards and requirements

  • Participate in on-the-job training initiatives and transfer skills learned into daily work

  • Adhere to company standards and procedures, maintain a positive attitude, actively support employee engagement initiatives, and contribute to a respectful workplace

  • Maintaining consistent and reliable attendance, punctuality and dependability to support team operations and meet performance expectations

  • Escalateissues that may impact safety, quality, or productivity to supervisors or designated leads in a timely manner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION, SKILL AND/OR COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to learn new skills in a fastpaced environment and willingness to crosstrain across multiple operations within the department

  • Possess problem solving, communication, teamwork and leader initiative

  • Ability to read and understand reports

  • Demonstrate strong competency in safety compliance, quality standards, proactive initiative, effective training participation, and a positive professional attitude

PHYSICAL DEMANDS FOR ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Ability to safely lift and carry items weighting up to 75pounds

  • Ability to safely push and/or pull up to 124 pounds of force.

  • Climb stairs/steps as needed

  • Perform a variety of positions such as stooping, reaching, twisting etc.

  • Ability to grasp and pinch frequently throughout the day

  • Work around and near moving equipment,machineryand loud noises

PAY RANGE:

$19.70 - $24.40

PROFIT SHARING: In 2026 Andersen has set a profit-sharing target of $3,600 per eligible employee, prorated as appropriate. Profit Sharing will be paid out in quarterly installments to provide eligible employees with payments throughout the year, with payment amounts tied to quarterly operating profit performance.
