Rivet is recruiting for FabLogix

A state-of-the-art facility in Duncan, SC is hiring Pipefitter to support fabrication and assembly of pipe spools. This position is available as direct hire (full-time), with contract work also available. Pay is $30$33/hour, based on experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan each shift to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and to quality standards
  • Assemble fabricated pipe spools per shop drawings while maintaining high safety and quality expectations
  • Read and interpret isometric spool drawings
  • Problem-solve shop issues and make sound decisions to keep production moving
  • Use and maintain proper hand tools, cutting equipment, and automated equipment as needed
  • Work with various material types, pipe sizes, fittings, specs, and wall thicknesses
  • Fit pipe spools per specification and detail provided
  • Keep tools, equipment, and work areas clean and organized
  • Maintain proper workflow at the station to meet production goals
  • Ensure final product documentation is accurate and geometric orientation is correct
  • Learn basic computer input for shop-floor documentation and tracking
  • Communicate effectively and assist with training/upskilling team members
  • Maintain a professional and respectful attitude

Qualifications:

  • Fabrication experience (preferred: 5+ years)
  • Understanding of welding procedures/processes including: GTAW, SMAW, FCAW, GMAW
  • Strong math skills (measuring, layout, angles, calculations)
  • Ability to plan work, troubleshoot issues, and follow detailed drawings/specs

Preferred (not required, but a plus):

  • Certifications or experience operating: forklift, aerial lift, scissor lift, Lull
