 DGI has a current need for an experienced full-time Maintenance Trades Helper.


Great Pay and Benefits for a Maintenance Trades Helper:


  • Competitive pay rate; $18.43 - $23.36 per hour depending on role, experience, and benefits selected;
  • 11 annual paid holidays;
  • Minimum of 2 weeks of paid annual leave;

Duties and Responsibilities

DGI-ATI is seeking a highly motivated, qualified, and experienced Maintenance Trades Helper for a Government facility located in Clinton, Maryland.

Duties may include, but not be limited to, the following:


  • Transport vehicles off site for specialized servicing (under warranty or not serviced by FLETC Cheltenham Auto Mechanics);
  • Parts pickup from local vendors/dealerships, Blanket Purchase Agreement (BPA)/Purchase Request (PR) related needs;
  • Parts issue;
  • Shop maintenance and cleaning;
  • Install, maintain, and monitor dichlorination tablets as needed prior to skid pad use. Advise when the tablet stock is getting low for re-ordering purposes;
  • Perform other duties as assigned in support of FLETC Cheltenham operations


Required Qualifications and Experience


  • The ideal candidate must possess a minimum of one-year relevant experience in the experience listed above.
  • Experience at a Government facility is a plus but not required.
  • Must possess a valid state-issued driver’s license, CDL license is a plus; and
  • Ability to secure a government clearance in a timely manner – requires a CLEAN background history.
  • Ability to lift at least 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work outdoors maintaining driver training track and completing course setups.

Pay Rate: $18.43 - $23.36 per hour depending on role, experience, and benefits selected


Location: Cheltenham, MD


Working Hours: Normal Work Hours – Monday – Friday (anticipate 40 per week). Subject to change based on training demands.
