Innovative Dining Group (IDG) is hiring Pool Servers at Casa Mani Resort Napa Valley, a newly reimagined lifestyle hotel as part of Curio Collection by Hilton. Located in the heart of Napa Valley, Casa Mani  features multiple new dining outlets rooted in craftsmanship, seasonality, and quality ingredients. We're seeking hospitality professionals who are passionate about service, elevated dining, and professional growth. 


What You'll Do:


A Pool Server provides a unique dining experience for our guests by delivering outstanding customer service and a superior guest experience. Responsibilities include attending to diners before, during, and after their meals by helping them place, receive, and pay for their orders. A Server ensures the timely delivery of food and beverages by checking on their tables periodically throughout the service time and are expected to have basic cooking knowledge.


Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Have an extensive knowledge of our restaurant's food offerings and beverage program
  • Inform guests of menu changes and daily specials and answer questions regarding food and beverages
  • Ensure all orders are filled accurately and deliver food and beverages from kitchen to guests in a timely manner
  • Provide attentive service to diners, check their needs throughout their dining experience and promptly address any customer service issue referring to management if necessary
  • Prepare final bill, present the check to guest, accept payment, process credit card and make changes (if needed)
  • Maintain a clean and safe pool deck.
  • Perform station opening/closing and side work duties for each shift
  • Assist bussers with clearing and resetting tables and maintain cleanliness in all service areas
  • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure a smooth and an efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the Restaurant Manager or immediate supervisor
  • Create a welcoming environment for guests by greeting them, thanking them, and saying "good-bye"
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and the ability to remain calm and composed under pressure
  • Embody and deliver on exceptional service and hospitality

Requirements

What we are looking for:

  • 2 years previous server experience in a high-end, high-volume restaurant
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite: Outlook, Word, Excel; Open Table and Restaurant POS Systems
  • Possess a strong familiarity with food service regulations and proper food handling procedures
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure
  • Strong communication skills, both with guests and teammates
  • A positive, upbeat attitude with a strong work ethic
  • Flexible availability to work days, nights, weekends - we're looking for team players who can adapt to the flow of the restaurant
  • A valid Food Handler Card and Alcohol Awareness Training Certificate (must have upon hire)
  • Ability to work standing for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and manage a physically demanding role
  • Must be 21 years or older
