What You'll Do:


A Cocktail Server provides a unique dining experience for our guests by delivering outstanding customer service and a superior guest experience. Responsibilities include attending to diners before, during, and after their meals by helping them place, receive, and pay for their drink orders. A Cocktail Server also ensures the timely delivery of beverages to our guests and is expected to pass periodical testing for food and beverage knowledge.ย 


Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Have an extensive knowledge of our restaurant's food offerings, beverage program and cocktail menuย 
  • Inform guests of menu changes and answer questions regarding food and beveragesย 
  • Ensure all orders are filled accurately and deliver beverages from kitchen to guests in a timely ย mannerย 
  • Provide attentive service to diners, check their needs throughout their dining experience and promptly address any customer service issue referring to management if necessaryย 
  • Prepare final bill, present the check to guest, accept payment, process credit card and make changes (if needed)ย 
  • Perform station opening/closing and side work duties for each shiftย 
  • Assist bussers with clearing and resetting tables and maintain cleanliness in all service areasย 
  • Be available to fill in as needed to ensure a smooth and an efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the Restaurant Manager or immediate ย supervisorย 
  • Create a welcoming environment for guests by greeting them, thanking them, and saying "good-bye"ย 
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills and the ability to remain calm and composed under ย pressureย 
  • Embody and deliver on exceptional service and hospitalityย 

Requirements

What we are looking for:

  • 2 years previous experience in a high-end, high-volume restaurant
  • Ability to multi-task and work efficiently under pressure
  • Strong communication skills, both with guests and teammates
  • A strong familiarity with food service regulations and proper food and beverage handling proceduresย 
  • A positive, upbeat attitude with a strong work ethic
  • Flexible availability to work days, nights, weekends - we're looking for team players who can adapt to the flow of the restaurant
  • A valid Food Handler Card and Alcohol Awareness Training Certificate ย (must have upon hire)
  • Ability to work standing for long periods, lift up to 25 lbs, and manage a physically demanding role
  • Must be 21 years or older
