Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Day Shift)
  • Location: Oswego, NY, 13126
  • Shift: Tuesday - Friday, 10-hour day shift (6:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
  • Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
  • Weekly Pay Rate: $3,040 - $3,200; (Negotiable based on experience)

    Job Summary:

    We are seeking a qualified Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our team on a contract basis. The ideal candidate will have experience performing nuclear medicine procedures, preparing radiopharmaceuticals, and ensuring patient safety in accordance with all state and federal regulations.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform nuclear medicine procedures including diagnostic imaging and therapeutic applications.
    • Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals according to protocol.
    • Operate and maintain nuclear medicine equipment.
    • Monitor patient safety and provide patient care during procedures.
    • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.
    • Ensure compliance with all NYS and federal regulations regarding radiation safety.
    • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal patient care.

    Required Requirements:

    • Minimum of one year experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist.
    • Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
    • Current NYS license/registration required.
    • ARRT or CNMT certification in Nuclear Medicine required.
    • Current CPR certification required.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
