X ray Technologist- Day Shift
Location: Utica, NY, 13502
Duration: 13 week
Pay Rate: $60 – $66 per hour (Depending on experience; negotiable)
Shift Schedule:
  • 10-Hour Day Shifts
  • Schedule Pattern: 7 days on / 7 days off
  • Total Hours: 63 hours over 7 consecutive days, followed by 7 days off
  • Shift Time: 7:00 AM – 4:30 PM

    Job Description:

    We are seeking a skilled and reliable X-ray Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in Utica, NY. This role is focused on general radiology—no CT or interventional procedures. The ideal candidate is a licensed professional with strong technical skills, excellent patient care, and the flexibility to work a 7-on/7-off schedule.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform diagnostic general radiographic procedures in accordance with physician orders
    • Ensure high-quality imaging while minimizing radiation exposure
    • Accurately document and maintain patient records
    • Provide compassionate care and ensure patient safety during all procedures
    • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare staff to provide timely, effective imaging services
    • Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns

    Requirements:

    • ARRT Certification – Required
    • BLS Certification (AHA) – Required
    • Valid New York State Radiologic Technologist License – Required
    • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in general radiology
    • Strong communication and organizational skills
