Job Summary and Qualifications

Performs and evaluates overnight polysomnograms. Operates medical equipment to record sleep/wake physiology. Applies recording devices to patients, cleans/sterilizes equipment an monitors polysomnograms. Recognizes sleep pathology when it occurs in the laboratory and responds with the appropriate interventions to ensure patient safety. 

What qualifications you will need:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
  • Completion of the A-Step program or RPSGT registration
  • Registered Polosomnographer (Sleep Technologist)
  • Prior work experience and/or training related to Sleep/EEG/Respiratory/Pharmacy/Nursing/EMT or other allied health field
