Position Overview
As a Registered Nurse at South Haven Health & Rehabilitation, you'll provide exceptional clinical care while leading a dedicated team of nursing professionals. You'll collaborate with physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure every resident receives personalized, compassionate, and high-quality care.
Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional resident-centered nursing care
  • Complete resident assessments and monitor changes in condition
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders
  • Develop and update individualized care plans
  • Supervise and mentor Licensed Practical Nurses and Certified Nursing Assistants
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapy, pharmacy, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Maintain accurate electronic documentation
  • Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
  • Foster a safe, respectful, and healing environment for residents
Qualifications
Required
  • Current Alabama Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
  • Ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team
  • Compassionate, resident-centered approach to care
  • Current BLS/CPR certification required (ACLS preferred)
  • Ability to perform the essential functions of the position
