Job description

Multi-Craft Industrial Mechanic

Corporate Construction Facilities Crew

About the Role

Are you an all-around master of industrial trades who hates doing the same repetitive assembly line job

every single day? Our corporate construction crew is expanding! We are looking for a highly versatile

Multi-Craft Industrial Mechanic to support a network of local manufacturing facilities right in our

immediate area.

In this role, you get the day-to-day variety of supporting different plant setups, expansions, and

machinery installs. Because all facilities are 100% local, you get the benefit of being home in your own

bed every single night. You will also act as a crucial project multiplier, working side-by-side with external

contractors to maximize project efficiency, keep timelines on track, and ensure high-quality facility

standards are met.

What You will Be Doing (Day-to-Day)

 New Equipment Startup: Play a leading role in plant expansions by fabricating components,

troubleshooting, and successfully firing up brand-new production equipment and automation.

 Welding Fabrication: Cut, fit, and weld (MIG/TIG/Stick) structural steel, brackets, custom fixtures,

and safety guards.

 Rigging Machinery Moving: Safely dismantle, transport, align, level, and position heavy industrial

manufacturing machinery during facility reconfigurations.

 Pipe Fitting: Layout, assemble, install, and maintain low-to-high pressure piping for air, water, and

hydraulic fluid systems.

 General Carpentry: Perform structural framing, drywall patching, concrete work, door repairs, and

facility upkeep.

 Contractor Collaboration: Partner closely with third-party vendors to share tools/equipment,

provide plant knowledge, eliminate bottlenecks, and keep shared job sites moving efficiently.

What We Are Looking For

 3+ years of hands-on experience in industrial maintenance, commercial construction, or a millwright

role within a manufacturing environment.

 Proven technical proficiency in structural welding and industrial piping systems.

 Experience safely operating rigging equipment, forklifts, and aerial/boom lifts.

 Excellent team player with exceptional communication skills, strong time-management, and a get it

done attitude.

 Valid drivers license with a reliable means of local transportation.

 Previous experience directing or working collaboratively alongside outside contractors is highly

valued.

Preferred (But Not Required)

 Formal trade school diploma, completed industrial apprenticeship, or relevant military mechanical

training.

 Possession of a broad range of personal basic industrial hand tools (all heavy/specialty tools,

machinery, and equipment provided).

Whats In It For You?

 Work-Life Balance: Day shift with zero overnight travel. Multiple local sites keep the job exciting

without keeping you away from your family.

 Paid Laundry Service: We provide your heavy-duty uniforms and handle the washing/laundry

service for you weekly.

 Corporate Stability: Stable, corporate-backed positioning with a premium on a safety-first job site

culture.

 Top-Tier Benefits: Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision packages, 401(k) matching, and paid

time off (PTO).
