Your specific responsibilities differ based on the location at which you work. You may be required to inspect and repair guns and other weapons, test fire weapons, install new components or equipment, maintain the physical space, and ensure that all people who enter the facility follow appropriate firearms safety protocols. As the armorer at a law enforcement or military location, you may also be responsible for requisitioning equipment and supplies, such as ammunition.
