Job Description:

Role: Python Developer

Location: Tampa, FL (3 days onsite in a week)

Contract to hire


Required Skills:

  • 5+ years of back-end development experience with Python.
  • Strong hands-on experience with FastAPI, Microservices Architecture, and ASGI servers such as Uvicorn.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker image creation, deployment pipelines, and troubleshooting build/release issues.
  • Strong knowledge of Unit Testing and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Strong experience with AI/GenAI in software development.
  • Hands-on use of GitHub Copilot and other AI coding tools (e.g., Codex, Antigravity, Devon, Claude Code).
  • Ability to leverage, validate, and optimize AI-generated code.
  • Ensure AI-generated code is clean, consistent, and free of unnecessary repetition.
  • Familiarity with AI agent tools beyond Copilot is a plus.
  • Experience using OpenTelemetry or similar monitoring tools for exception tracking and alerting.
  • Experience interpreting Jira business requirements and writing test cases before development.
  • Hands-on experience using GitHub Copilot or similar AI coding tools (Codex, Devin, Claude Code, Cursor, etc.).
  • Ability to validate, optimize, and maintain AI-generated code for consistency and quality.
  • Experience with OpenTelemetry, Splunk, or similar monitoring and logging tools.
  • Self-driven, proactive, and capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
