Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to join our day shift team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and programming various CNC machines, including lathes and mills, to manufacture precision components. This is a temporary-to-hire position, with the potential to transition to a permanent, full-time role for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate CNC lathes, mills, and other specialized machinery to produce parts and components
- Program CNC machines using G-code and other programming languages
- Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on CNC equipment
- Collaborate with the production team to ensure efficient and high-quality manufacturing processes
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment
Qualifications:
- Proficient in operating and programming CNC machines, including lathes and mills
- Demonstrated experience in CNC machining and programming
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with measurement tools and quality control procedures
- High school diploma or equivalent
