As a Production Supervisor, you will lead a manufacturing team responsible for building CAE's industry-leading flight simulators. You will oversee daily production activities, ensuring safety, quality,productivityand deliveryobjectivesare achieved while supporting a collaborative and high-performing team environment.


We are looking for a hands-on leader who enjoys working on the production floor, solvingproblemsand driving continuous improvement initiatives in a dynamic manufacturing environment.

Join a manufacturing team where your impact will be direct and visible. In this role, you will oversee day-to-day production activities while ensuring safety, quality, operationalperformanceand employee development.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Supervise,coachand develop a team of production employees in a manufacturing environment
  • Manage daily production activities to ensure safety, quality,productivityand deliveryobjectivesare achieved
  • Foster a positive,collaborativeand accountable team culture
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety,qualityand manufacturing standards
  • Monitor production schedules and proactively address issues that mayimpactproject milestones and delivery timelines
  • Coordinate workforce allocation,materialsand resources to support production requirements
  • Analyze operational performance andidentifyopportunities to improve efficiency,qualityand productivity
  • Lead continuous improvement and change management initiatives
  • Establish,implementandmaintainproduction procedures and operational standards
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support manufacturingobjectivesand customer commitments
  • Manage employeesin accordance withcompany policies and collective agreements

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience leading teams in a manufacturing or production environment
  • Experience managing production schedules, workforceplanningand operational performance
  • Experience driving continuous improvement initiatives in a manufacturing environment
  • Experience working in a unionized environment
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
  • Knowledge of manufacturing health and safety best practices
  • Strongproficiencywith Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience working in a complex, technology-driven or evolving manufacturing environment
  • Strong communicationskills in both French and English

English proficiency isrequiredfor this role as it involves regular interaction with colleagues, customers and partnerslocatedoutside of Quebec.
