These roles are common in industries like mining, oil and gas, or in rural communities where access to healthcare is limited. The position requires healthcare workers to fly to the site for a set period, work daytime shifts, and then return home during their off period. This arrangement allows for continuous medical coverage in areas that may not support permanent staff. Candidates typically need relevant medical qualifications and experience in remote or emergency care.
