Medical Secretary- Day Shift
Location: Needham, MA, 02494
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Duration: 13-weeks
Guaranteed Hours: 40 hours per week
Weekly Pay Rate: $960 - $1,120; (Negotiable based on experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Secretary to support clinical and administrative operations at a healthcare facility in Needham, MA. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills and be comfortable working in a fast-paced medical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check in patients in a professional and courteous manner
  • Schedule patient appointments and manage provider calendars
  • Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and route messages as needed
  • Verify insurance eligibility and collect co-pays or other payments
  • Prepare and maintain medical records and documentation
  • Coordinate referrals, authorizations, and follow-ups
  • Communicate with healthcare providers, patients, and other departments
  • Assist with data entry, filing, and general office tasks
