RN - Intermediate Care (Day Shift)
Location: Utica, NY, 13502
Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-Hour Day | 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Weekly Pay Rate: $2,160 - $2,340; (Negotiable based on experience)

    Job Summary:

    Seeking a skilled Registered Nurse with at least 2 years of experience in Intermediate Care Units such as IMCU or PCU to join our team on a 13-week contract. The ideal candidate will have experience with travel nursing and must be proficient with EPIC EMR. This position requires floating to different units as needed.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide high-quality nursing care in the Intermediate Care Unit.
    • Monitor patient conditions and report changes promptly.
    • Administer medications and treatments according to hospital protocols.
    • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
    • Accurately document patient care in the EPIC EMR system.
    • Float to other units as assigned.

    Required Requirements:

    • Minimum 2 years of experience in IMCU/PCU; travel nursing experience and must be documented.
    • Current AHA BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
    • Proficient in EPIC EMR documentation.
    • Active NY RN license and all RN licenses.
    • Willingness to float to different units as required.
