As a leading manufacturer of precision medical devices and components, we partner with some of the world's most innovative medical technology companies to produce components used in robotic-assisted surgery, minimally invasive procedures, and orthopedic applications.
We're growing and looking for experienced Front Line Leaders to lead our CNC machining and Post operations on both day shift and night shift. If you're passionate about developing people, driving production performance, and creating a culture of safety and quality, we'd love to meet you.
What You'll Do
As a Front Line Leader, you'll provide day-to-day leadership for a team of CNC Operators and Production Associates while ensuring production schedules, quality standards, and customer commitments are met.
Your responsibilities will include:
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of CNC Operators and Production Associates.
  • Assign daily work and balance workloads to meet production priorities.
  • Partner with Scheduling to achieve daily production goals and customer delivery commitments.
  • Coordinate production flow to maximize efficiency while maintaining exceptional quality.
  • Read routers and execute production activities as directed by the Operations Manager.
  • Perform and oversee Manufacturing Inspection Process (MIP) quality checks.
  • Monitor production and audit finished parts to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Troubleshoot production and technical issues and escalate concerns when appropriate.
  • Monitor work-in-process inventory and raw material staging.
  • Communicate production status, scheduling challenges, and shipping concerns with Operations.
  • Review production performance and communicate efficiency results with operators and leadership.
  • Support new employee onboarding, training, and ongoing skills development.
  • Participate in hiring, employee retention, coaching, performance evaluations, and corrective action.
  • Perform or support secondary operations including inspection, deburring, tumbling, washing, assembly, and packaging as needed.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing environment.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements
What You'll Bring
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience in CNC machining or precision manufacturing preferred.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, production scheduling, and quality systems.
  • Ability to interpret routers, work instructions, and manufacturing documentation.
  • Experience using precision measuring equipment and quality inspection methods.
  • Strong communication, coaching, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lead by example while building accountability and engagement across the team.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environmen
