STS Technical Services is hiring an experienced Helicopter Pilot (VFR / NVG) to support air medical operations based in Rushville, Indiana. This role places pilots at the center of critical care response, flying time‑sensitive missions that directly impact patient outcomes and survival.

Position Overview

The Helicopter Pilot supports air medical transport missions under CAMTS guidelines. Pilots conduct day and night missions and are responsible for the safe, compliant execution of all assigned flights while maintaining strict adherence to company procedures and safety management systems.

Minimum Qualifications

  • First Class Medical Certificate
  • Meet CAMTS minimum flight time requirements:

  • 1,000 hours PIC helicopter
  • 500 turbine helicopter hours
  • 100 hours unaided night operations or
  • 50 hours unaided night and 100 hours NVG
  • NVG qualified or eligible
  • Body weight not to exceed 235 pounds
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated internal and external customer service skills
Pre Employment Requirements
  • Ability to pass a pre‑placement physical and functional capacity exam including lifting up to 100 pounds
  • Drug screening and background check
Schedule & Location Requirements
  • Seven days on and seven days off rotation
  • Schedule rotation may be required
  • Off‑duty housing provided at base
Additional Notes
  • Aircraft transition training may require a one‑year service commitment
