Job description

Aerospace Fabricator/Machine Operator

With our ongoing growth, we are looking to have an Aerospace Production Team Member join our team on day shift.

Aerospace Fabricator/Machine Operator Job Description:

  • · Set up and operate machine tools such as stamping presses, drill presses, milling machines and grinders to produce parts to specified dimensions and finishes
  • · Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear
  • · Perform secondary operations, such as deburring, surface finishing, cleaning, and qualifying of metal parts
  • · Verify dimensions, alignments and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers
  • · Assist in troubleshooting tooling and/or machine production issues

Aerospace Fabricator/Machine Operator Requirements:

  • · Ability to set up and operate machine tools to produce parts that are within customer specifications
  • · Ability to interpret blueprints and customer specifications to ensure conforming parts
  • · Individuals must have an advanced understanding of fabrication and tooling principles, along with relevant hands-on experience
  • · High school or equivalent education
  • · Able to follow written and verbal instructions
  • · Be very detail oriented
  • · Have excellent attendance
  • · Being a self-starter with good work habits and the desire to learn
