Job description

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced P6 Scheduler to support project scheduling and controls for major projects within the energy sector.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and optimize detailed project schedules.

  • Monitor schedule performance and variances and provide regular status updates to project managers.

  • Perform Critical Path Analysis to identify and analyze critical activities and determine potential impacts on project completion.

  • Forecast potential delays and evaluate alternative scheduling scenarios.

  • Lead schedule update and review meetings.

  • Identify schedule risks and opportunities.

  • Analyze schedule impacts resulting from change orders or scope modifications.

  • Support cost and schedule integration, including coordination with contractor schedules.

  • Collaborate with Project Controls teams to ensure accurate progress measurement and reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction, Quantity Surveying, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of scheduling experience using Primavera P6.

  • Strong understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) concepts and calculations.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent decision-making abilities.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

  • Excellent presentation and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to effectively collaborate with project managers, contractors, and project controls teams.
