Job description

Patient Attendant

McFarland Clinic is currently accepting applications for a Patient Attendant for its Ames office. Candidates should be service-oriented, a team player, and be able to provide extraordinary care, every day to our patients.

Responsibilities include: directing and transporting patients as needed and visitors to all areas of the clinic. Assists patients in transfer from vehicles to wheelchairs or patient carts; provides information on Clinic services and department locations. Opens doors for all patients and staff when available in accordance with McFarland Clinic's Core Values and Promise.

Education:

  • High School Diploma, GED or HiSET

Days: Wednesday & Friday

Hours: Wednesday 7:00 AM - 1:00 PM. Friday Noon - 5:00 PM

Experience:

  • On the job training
  • Previous experience working with the public is helpful
