Your future role at a glance

Location:  Tulsa, OK

Facility:  Ascension St John Medical Center

Department:  Float Staffing

Schedule:  Full-time day shift

How you'll make an impact in this role
  • Perform basic patient monitoring activities under the supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN).
  • Remain at bedside of assigned patient at all times unless relieved by an appropriate staff member. 
  • Assist in calming and/or reorienting patient in cases of agitation or confusion.
  • Remove visible hazards and/or broken equipment from immediate environment and report as appropriate.
  • Record all observations.
What minimum qualifications you'll need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

  • BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Certification specializing in Crisis Prevention preferred.

Education:

  • High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.
    • Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
