Job description

Experienced Motorcycle Service/Parts Manager

We’re looking for a Motorcycle Service & Parts Manager to join our team. The right candidate will have a strong motorcycle service background, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to lead both service and parts operations. BMW Motorrad and Ducati experience are preferred but not required.

A newly built state-of-the-art motorcycle shop in Wilmington, North Carolina, servicing BMW Motorcycles, Ducati Motorcycles, and other motorcycle brands. We service bikes from Charleston to Charlotte and Raleigh to Norfolk. Candidates with Ducati, BMW Motorrad, Honda, Kawasaki, Yamaha, KTM, Harley-Davidson, Triumph, Suzuki, Aprilia, Indian, Victory experience and more are welcome.

Qualifications and Job Requirements
  • Motorcycle service management, parts management, or dealership fixed operations experience preferred
  • BMW Motorrad experience preferred
  • Ducati experience preferred
  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the motorcycle service and parts departments
  • Manage technician workflow, repair order status, parts availability, and customer communication
  • Work closely with Service Advisors, Technicians, Parts Staff, and Management to keep jobs moving efficiently
  • Ensure repair orders are accurate, properly documented, and completed in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards
  • Assist with parts ordering, inventory control, special orders, warranty parts, and backorder tracking
  • Maintain strong communication with customers regarding service needs, repair timelines, parts delays, and additional recommendations
  • Help ensure warranty repairs are completed to manufacturer specifications with proper documentation
  • Monitor shop productivity, efficiency, customer satisfaction, and department profitability
  • Support, train, and motivate team members while maintaining a positive and professional work environment
  • Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and professional service and parts department
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong mechanical understanding of motorcycles and service department operations
  • Ability to read and understand repair orders, parts diagrams, service manuals, and manufacturer procedures
  • Mechanical and troubleshooting knowledge, with ability to understand diagnostic and repair processes
  • Excellent customer service skills and strong computer competencies
  • Positive, professional attitude, along with an eagerness to improve and grow
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced motorcycle dealership environment
  • Strong teammate with the ability to collaborate with others effectively
  • Ability to learn new technology, repair procedures, service processes, parts systems, and manufacturer specifications
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
