Looking for more than just an internship? At BMW Motorrad, you'll work on meaningful projects, learn from experienced professionals, and develop skills that will help accelerate your career. As a BMW Motorrad Aftersales Business Development Intern, you will be immersed in the business activities that help drive customer satisfaction, dealer success, and brand growth. Working alongside experienced professionals, you will gain meaningful exposure to eCommerce, product management, dealer operations, logistics, and strategic business development while contributing to projects that create value for riders across the country.
WHAT AWAITS YOU.
  • Gain hands-on experience across multiple areas of BMW Motorrad Aftersales, including eCommerce, parts, accessories, riding gear, and lifestyle apparel.
  • Collaborate with the Retail Process Development & eCommerce team to enhance the online customer experience by managing product content and supporting digital retail initiatives.
  • Contribute to the creation and maintenance of product catalogs for BMW Motorrad riding gear, accessories, and lifestyle collections.
  • Partner with the Parts Logistics and Materials Management team to support dealer programs, promotional campaigns, and customer-facing initiatives.
  • Engage directly with BMW Motorrad dealers by helping resolve inquiries and supporting daily Aftersales business operations.
  • Analyze business performance data and develop reports that identify opportunities to improve dealer satisfaction, operational effectiveness, and profitability.
  • Participate in real-world projects that address emerging market trends, new technologies, and strategic business opportunities within the motorcycle industry.
  • Present ideas and recommendations to stakeholders while developing valuable skills in business analysis, project management, and professional communication.
  • Build a broad professional network through collaboration with experienced professionals across the BMW Motorrad organization.
  • Exposure to senior leaders and business professionals within BMW Motorrad, providing mentorship and valuable career development opportunities.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR.
  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program at an accredited college or university.
  • US Work Authorization required.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (overall, not just major).
  • Completed at least 60 college credit hours at the time of application.
  • Ability to work part-time (29 hours/week).
  • Must submit an unofficial college transcript with your application.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING.
  • Business fluent English.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Power Point, and Word.
  • Preferences:
    • Field of Study: Business or Marketing.
    • Interest/ability to ride motorcycles and/or knowledge of motorcycles.
    • Knowledge in any graphic related software.

Relocation assistance is not available for this position. This is a hybrid role that requires in office days.
Undergraduate students: Hourly rate is $25.30.
Graduate students: Hourly rate is $32.20.
The selected student's academic level will be used to determine the final pay rate. This statement is in accordance with state and local pay disclosure requirements.
