Job description

River Crest Country Club is looking to add full and part time Waitstaff / Servers for our Dining Rooms. Pay rate is $8.50 per hour + 15% Service Charge on all sales. River Crest Servers historically average between $24 and $27 per hour on a bi-weekly pay schedule which includes a base hourly rate and service charge. This is not a guarantee of future earnings as shift availability and venue traffic could increase or decrease the average rate.

Located five miles from downtown Fort Worth, River Crest is Fort Worth’s oldest and most storied country club.

JOB SUMMARY

Dining Room Waitstaff/Servers are responsible for ensuring total Member and Guest satisfaction in the dining facilities. They prepare the dining area for food and beverage service by supplying and replenishing items needed for a high level of service.

QUALIFICATIONS & WORK REQUIREMENTS

  • The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of waitstaff/server experience in addition to familiarity with POS systems. Wine and beverage knowledge is a plus!
  • Attention to detail and mental concentration are necessary for accurately performing tasks and tolerating frequent interruptions.
  • Must present a neat and clean personal appearance.
  • Must have timely, reliable attendance.
  • Must have a professional, courteous & respectful attitude toward members, guests, vendors, co-workers and supervisors.
  • High school education or equivalent is required.
  • Food Handlers Certification is required. (We can assist with this)
  • Must be 18 years of age or older to serve liquor.

RESPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES / FUNCTIONS / TASKS

  • Reports to the supervisor to receive instructions of any special duties or events.
  • Completes opening and closing duties as assigned by supervisor.
  • Completes all service duties in accordance with the guidelines for high standards of service set forth by RCCC.
  • Greets members and their guests by last name whenever possible.
  • Insures that members and their guests receive immediate attention and service upon arrival.
  • Observes all club policies in dealing with members and non-members in club usage.
  • Informs supervisor of any complaints or problems that occur throughout the shift.
  • Insures that all established service procedures and standards are adhered to and performed with the emphasis on giving superior service to the members.
  • Responsible for bussing tables and resetting tables.
