Job Summary

Responsible for coordinating program activities and providing administrative support, ensuring operational efficiency and alignment with organizational goals. Facilitates communication across departments, monitors program timelines, and supports project implementation to enhance program effectiveness. Contributes to reporting and data analysis to assess program impact and support strategic improvements.

Essential Functions
-Assist in the day-to-day administrative tasks related to program management.
-Maintain accurate and organized program documentation, including project plans, reports, and correspondence.
-Assist in the planning and execution of events related to hospital programs, such as workshops, training sessions, and community outreach activities.
-Enter and manage program-related data, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
-Communicate with program participants and stakeholders, providing information, collecting feedback, and addressing inquiries.
-Provides assistance with the program's financial operations.

Education
High School Diploma or Equivalent required and Associate's Degree Related Field of Study preferred

The Harvey Research and Education Program within the Mass General Brigham Heart and Vascular Institute seeks a Program Coordinator to provide comprehensive administrative support across our education, training, and research portfolios. Reporting primarily to Dr. Mandeep R. Mehra, the William Harvey Chair in Advanced Cardiovascular Medicine at MGB, and Professor of Medicineat Harvard Medical School, the Coordinator will support a broad scholarly enterprise. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to one of the foremost research programs in advanced heart disease worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Education and Training Support

  • Coordinate production and dissemination of educational content, including podcasts, newsletters, video teaching blogs, and journal clubs
  • Manage scheduling, logistics, and communications for educational programming
  • Maintain content calendars and support program faculty in the timely delivery of teaching materials

Research Program Administration

  • Oversee administrative activities for the research fellowship program, including recruitment logistics, onboarding, and trainee support
  • Provide operational support to the clinical outcomes unit and clinical trials portfolio
  • Assist faculty in conducting scholarly work across regulatory, operational, and policy-based activities

Collaborative and Multicenter Coordination

  • Coordinate multicenter collaborative strategies and communications with partner institutions
  • Support enterprise-wide research initiatives and cross-program alignment
  • Facilitate meetings, track deliverables, and maintain documentation for collaborative projects
