Description
The Amazon Data Analyst is responsible for performing analytics and creating custom audiences using industry-leading clean room technology, primarily Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC). This role supports a broad portfolio of small to mid-sized client accounts, primarily conducting AMC measurement analysis and building custom audiences from established templates and custom client requests. The ideal candidate has strong SQL skills, sharp analytical thinking, and a genuine interest in retail data and the Amazon ecosystem. This role reports to the AMC Specialist.
This role will be based in Rogers, AR. If you are applying but do not currently reside in Northwest Arkansas, please note that relocation will not be covered by Harvest Group.

Responsibilities
  • Execute AMC analytics across a defined menu of deliverables for small to mid-sized client accounts. Core use cases include path to conversion, average purchase cycle, new to brand analysis, incrementality measurement, and custom audience builds for Amazon DSP.
  • Utilize strong SQL skills to analyze data and generate insights
  • Build and maintain a library of repeatable AMC query templates and workflow documentation, ensuring work is organized, reproducible, and transferable across accounts.
  • Validate and quality-check AMC audience builds before activation, with particular attention to custom attribute logic and expected output.
  • Exhibit resilience by making informed decisions in uncertain or ambiguous situations
  • Communicate findings clearly to account managers and internal stakeholders, and support account manager education on AMC baseline capabilities including path to purchase, time to purchase, and new to brand incrementality metrics.
  • Apply analytical thinking to problem-solving and decision-making processes
Requirements
  • At least 2-4 years of experience in analytics/data insights
  • At least 2-4 years of experience writing SQL
  • Comfort navigating AMC's natural language prompting interface alongside SQL-based query work
  • Ability to leverage data into actionable insights
  • Curiosity of retail and the constantly changing marketplace
  • Proven ownership mindset
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Strong Excel skills
Preferred
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Marketing Cloud (AMC) - strongly preferred
  • Familiarity with the Amazon ecosystem and its data, including Amazon Ads data
  • Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker, Power BI, Tableau etc.
  • Comfortability with using AI tools to support query development, analysis, and documentation workflows
