Description

American Traveler seeks a Speech-Language Pathologist for an Acute Care Hospital, requiring CCC-SLP certification and proficiency in MBS in an acute care setting.

  • Day shift, 5x8 hours, 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
  • Schedule runs Sunday through Thursday
  • May be required to float to another campus location
  • EPIC EMR used for documentation
Requirements
  • Current BLS certification (AHA)
  • CCC-SLP certification required
  • Active CA SLP license required if applicable
  • Proficiency in Modified Barium Swallow (MBS) studies
  • Acute care hospital experience required
  • EPIC or combined EPIC/Cerner experience within the last 6 months
  • 1.5+ years of continuous experience in specialty required
  • 1 year total travel experience required, with 6+ months of continuous travel experience leading up to submission
  • 1 supervisory-level professional reference required
Additional Information
  • Candidates must have availability for interviews, including time zone, ideally same day and within the next 3 business days
  • No first-time travelers will be considered for this position
  • Returning staff and travelers eligible to reapply after 1 year
  • Maximum 7 days of RTO permitted, with no additional requests after submission
  • Candidates residing within 100 miles of the facility are not eligible unless currently on assignment
  • Candidates on assignment in San Diego for 9+ months or more are considered local and are not eligible
