Job description

Power Platform Solution Developer
The Opportunity:
A solution developer on our team uses equal parts skill and vision to build a user experience that delivers functionality and efficiency. Our solution developers combine the analytical power of a data scientist with the ability to design intuitive visualizations that drive important business and client decisions. They are responsible for both developing new analytical tools and designing dashboard interfaces that enhance user experience and operational efficiency.
We need an experienced Dataverse developer who will use their passion to design, develop, and maintain Power Platform solutions while helping to ingest and visualize data to empower our client to make meaningful insights and informed decisions. This is an opportunity to solve problems both with external clients and our internal team by collaborating with a development team and functional experts to leverage Power Platform and Power BI to build user-centric solutions. You will coordinate with workforce specialists, UI/UX designers, and Power BI development team members to create a seamless user experience using Power BI. You will ensure accessibility for all users by developing a solution that functions across browsers, platforms, and devices while meeting accessibility and security requirements. With opportunities to learn new tools and skills, mentoring, and positive code reviews, we focus on growing as a team to create the best solutions for our customers. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

You Have:
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Dataverse
  • 3+ years of experience with Python and JavaScript
  • 3+ years of experience with Microsoft Power BI for development, data visualization, data analytics, and dashboards
  • Experience with data storage and analysis, including SQL
  • Experience with APIs
  • Knowledge of ETL and data transformation
  • Knowledge of human capital and workforce analytics
  • Ability to provide communication to multiple levels of stakeholders and end-users
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in CS, Engineering, or Mathematics and 10+ years of experience in data, analytics, or development, or 18+ years of experience in data, analytics, or development in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:
  • Experience with APIs such as Placer.ai, REST, and SOAP
  • Experience in a software developer or data science role
  • Experience with SharePoint
  • Knowledge of human capital and workforce analytics

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen's total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
