Job description

This role will focus on building complex system hardware and software solutions for a next generation aviation product. The ideal candidate will have expertise in OS configuration/virtualization, virtual/physical networking, containerization, and utilizing programming languages such as Bash, Python, Powershell, or C/C++/C#.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement hardware/software systems to support Summit TRC and our customers
Automate the configuration of new and existing VM's and microservices
Configure and troubleshoot essential virtual and physical network components
Script automated network installation and configuration using Bash, PowerShell, Python et al..
Integrate solutions for real-time, mission-critical systems
Continuously improve and reiterate hardware and software prototypes
Support on-site test events
Qualifications:
5-10 years of relevant experience and a relevant bachelors degree preferred
Strong Expertise developing complex operating systems in Linux computing environments

Experience in Windows preferred.
Experience in operating system virtualization, including hypervisors such as vSphere, KVM, or VMWare Workstation.
Experience with virtual and physical network configuration and administration.
Strong Expertise of computing system architecture and virtual machines.
Experience with containerization using tools like Docker and Podman.
Experience automating solutions such as Bash, Python, and Powershell.
Experience with C/C++/C# development.
Nice to have Skills:
Deploying container orchestration with kubernetes
Experience with Aviation and UAS platforms
Maintaining datacenter architectures
