Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Data Engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Databricks, Apache Spark, and Python to support enterprise-scale data engineering initiatives for Infosys/Citi.

The ideal candidate should have solid experience building scalable data pipelines, working with large datasets, and supporting cloud-based data platforms.

Required Skills
  • 6 to 8 years of overall IT experience in Data Engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience with Databricks
  • Expertise in PySpark

  • Strong programming skills in Python
  • Experience building ETL/ELT pipelines and data transformation workflows
  • Good knowledge of SQL and relational databases
  • Experience working with large-scale structured and unstructured data
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS

  • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Skills
  • Experience in Banking/Financial domain preferred
  • Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and version control tools like Git
  • Familiarity with Delta Lake, data warehousing, and orchestration tools

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines
