Formosa Plastics Corporation, Texas, located in Point Comfort, Texas (jobsite), is looking for a full-time Software Engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or Electronics Engineering or Computer Science and 2 years related work experience. Job duties include designing, testing, installing, pre-commissioning, and commissioning the distributed control system, using FProcess to modify the software of the distributed control system to control and optimize the process of the plant, performing simulated testing of the distributed control system, integrating programmable logic controller function into the distributed control system, developing and implementing process control for the distributed control system, upgrading the cybersecurity of the distributed control system, developing software to integrate the distributed control system with package equipment, designing, testing, and implementing direct IO interface assignment, and developing and implementing human machine interface program for system control.
