TITLE: Database Support Analyst โ€“ Facilities Management
LOCATION: Pax River Naval Air Base
CLEARANCE: (US Citizen) Ability to obtain and/or maintain a DoD Secret clearance

Position Summary
The Database Support Analyst โ€“ Responsible for leading analytical, operational, and program support activities related to the Infrastructure Business Operations Navy (IBONS) system in support of Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) and Naval Air Warfare Center (NAWC) operations. This position provides support for space utilization analysis within a government and DoD environment.
The Database Support Analyst independently performs complex analytical functions supporting high-visibility and mission-critical initiatives involving shore infrastructure, asset allocation, facility condition assessments, and infrastructure management processes. The position supports the management and integrity of IBONS data while coordinating with government stakeholders, facilities personnel, program leadership, and technical teams to ensure operational effectiveness and compliance with Navy infrastructure management requirements.
Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the application of analytical techniques and methodologies in support of IBONS operations and infrastructure management initiatives.
  • Support NAVAIR and NAWC programs involving space utilization tracking.
  • Maintain, analyze, and validate infrastructure, facility, and asset data within the IBONS system.
  • Develop reports, metrics, dashboards, executive summaries, and briefings for government leadership and stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and vision to project teams regarding analytical methodologies, infrastructure management processes, and IBONS best practices.
  • Resolve complex operational and analytical issues requiring in-depth knowledge of infrastructure management principles and government processes.
  • Coordinate with NAVAIR, NAWC, facilities personnel, engineers, program managers, and government stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and program execution.
  • Support process improvement initiatives and development of standard operating procedures (SOPs) related to IBONS operations and infrastructure management activities.
Required Qualifications
  • Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant professional experience supporting analytical, operational, infrastructure management, facilities management, or strategic program initiatives.
  • Experience supporting the Infrastructure Business Operations Navy (IBONS) facilities management systems database preferred, or similar enterprise infrastructure management systems to such as; Oracle, MAXIMO, IBM TRIRIGA, Limble, Planon, eFACiLiTY, FEMS, FAMIS and/or Lucity.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting high-visibility or mission-critical DoD or federal government programs.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to independently perform all functional duties with minimal supervision.
  • Experience leading or supervising junior personnel and project teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience preparing executive-level briefings, reports, and presentations.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Oracle, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to analyze infrastructure, facilities, asset, and operational data to support decision-making and reporting requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience supporting NAVAIR, NAWC, NAVFAC, or other Navy infrastructure and facilities management programs.
  • Familiarity with shore infrastructure management, space utilization analysis, real property accountability, and facility condition assessment processes.
  • Experience with SharePoint, business intelligence tools, reporting platforms, or enterprise asset management systems.
  • Prior experience supporting government audits, compliance initiatives, and infrastructure planning activities.
Education Requirements
  • Masterโ€™s Degree required; OR
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree plus four (4) additional years of relevant work experience; OR
  • Ten (10) additional years of relevant work experience may be substituted in lieu of a Masterโ€™s Degree.
