Position: Program Manager Tech 3 (Engineering)
Location: Redmond, WA

Job Description:
At Microsoft, we are making science fiction into reality through HoloLens. You can be part of a tight-knit team making cutting edge, unimagined experiences and defining the future of computer interactivity and entertainment. We need an experienced producer who is a jack of all trades, eager to dive into the details working with team members on making great experiences. You will be leading small teams and managing towards near-term and long-term goals from a high level. You will need to bring your creativity, results-driven approach, flexible personality, technical breadth and sense of wonder to effectively accomplish all that this team imagines.
  • Project management - concept to release (software development projects) - minimum 3 years of experience
  • Experience with the following: run planning, break features down into tasks, defining tasks, manage tasks to completion, creating schedules, understand dependencies
  • Experience with V1 hardware or V1 platforms - examples: working on Xbox One launch or Xbox 360 launch
  • 3+ years of software development experience, preferable shipping entertainment experiences.
  • Success leading small teams to deliver against goals in an agile environment.
  • Passion and experience with games is a huge plus.
  • Check bug tracking database for anything that came in overnight
  • Run triage with dev lead and test lead
  • Gaming Industry beneficial

Responsibilities;
  • Create sprint-based plans for the team.
  • Coordinate between a vast array of groups and disciplines to deliver on great consumer experiences.
  • Track work and deliveries, eliminating any road blocks in the way of progress.
  • Drive schedule-driven decisions on a weekly basis.
  • Hold a high-level vision and be able to map current work to the long-term goals at all times.
  • Pitch in and accomplish any task, large or small, to move the project forward.
  • Keep morale high and keep the team focused on the end goal.
