Project Engineer

Location: Greater Seattle Area

We're looking for a Project Engineer to play a critical support role on our project management teams. What You'll Do

As a Project Engineer, you'll assist Project Managers and their teams in both the office and the field-keeping projects organized, documented, and moving forward. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Project & Document Control

    • Prepare, process, and track submittals, change orders, proposals, RFIs, RFQs, ASIs, correspondence, transmittals, and daily logs.

    • Maintain all project files and paperwork in an organized, timely, and accurate manner.

    • Proofread, edit, and perform quality control checks on all project documentation.

  • Field & Cost Support

    • Assist with pricing and preparing extra work.

    • Process daily force account reports and update schedules.

    • Collaborate with field teams to ensure directives are understood and followed, even in the absence of the Project Manager.

  • Administrative & Coordination

    • Perform data entry into COINS or other designated databases accurately and on time.

    • Handle daily administrative tasks (filing, copying, mailings, forms/spreadsheets).

    • Research and recommend process improvements that enhance project efficiency.

    • Support project teams by setting priorities and managing multiple tasks with independence and ownership.


What We're Looking For
  • Education/Experience:

    • High school diploma or equivalent required.

    • 4โ€“6 years of industry experience or a Construction Management degree.

  • Skills & Qualities:

    • Strong decision-making and problem-solving abilities.

    • Detail-oriented with excellent communication skills.

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and database systems.

    • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    • Motivated, organized, and able to take ownership of tasks.
