Job Summary:
Info Way Solutions is seeking a Technical Project Manager to lead and manage projects effectively. The role involves determining project objectives, creating timelines, and ensuring compliance with quality standards while managing risks and resources.
Responsibilities:
• Determine the objectives / goals of the project and expected outcomes.
• Create timelines; and determine costs and resources needed. Perform ROI analysis and build business case.
• Generate a detailed plan and schedule for each stage of the project.
• Provide direction and coaching on project specific tasks.
• Select supporting staff and lead a project team.
• Negotiate with contractors and suppliers for materials and/or services.
• Ensure that each stage is progressing on time, on budget and to the processes and quality standards of the company.
• Develop & implement processes for PM teams to complete activities to current policies and practices; keep documentation organized; identify process improvements.
• Report the project progress to senior managers and the stakeholders.
• Manage project plans and provide regular reports on project progress to the management including project progress, financial performance and resource usage.
• Ensure compliance with internal/external standards and compliance requirements and ensure readiness for audit all the time.
• Manage project risks, issues, problems and activity progress to ensure project goals are achieved.
• Coordinate activities and tasks among project team members to meet project goals and ensure project completion is on schedule within budget constraints and of the appropriate quality standards for the project scope.
• Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
• Proactively track and manage changes in project scope, identify potential crisis and devise contingency plans.
• Manage Procurements required to support the project.
• Coordinate Project Execution with Global Teams
Qualifications:
Required:
• 15+ yrs of overall experience out of which at least 5 years hands on experience in Project Management.
• Strong Infrastructure/Software project manager, preferably with cloud experience.
• Exceptional English Communication – Verbal & Non-verbal and written.
• Proficient in project-planning tools like MS Project, MS Excel, MS Power point, Smartsheet, ServiceNow etc.
• Effective influencing and negotiating skills in an environment where this role may not directly control resources.
• Expertise in setting and managing customer expectations.
• Sound understanding of financial concepts like Capex, Opex, ROI, Amortization, Depreciation etc. and ability to develop and Track Budgets and Financials.
• Ability to create project documentation like Project Charter, Success Criteria, Requirements/Scope documentation, Project Plan, Lessons Learned, Risk Register, Change Log, Communication Plan etc.
• Conceptual understanding of cloud services like VM/EC2 Instance, Storage, Databases, DevSecOps tools, Containers, CDN, IOT, Networking, Security, DR solutions, App Services etc.
• Bachelor of Engineering / Bachelor of Technology – Computer Science / IT / E&TC (Other streams can also be acceptable in case of strong relevant experience)
