Role: Sr Technical Analyst for Legacy cleanup
Location: Atlanta, GA - 5 days - Onsite
Contract role
Tools & Technologies
Database: Oracle (Legacy), Snowflake (Target)
Transformation: SQL, dbt
Other: Data Modeling, Data Governance, ETL/Data Pipelines
Key Responsibilities
  1. Legacy Data Cleanup: Analyze, audit, and clean up legacy data objects within Oracle and Snowflake environments to improve data quality and compliance.
  2. Data Housekeeping: Identify and retire unused tables, views, procedures, and data sets in the legacy system.
  3. SQL & Optimization: Write advanced SQL for data analysis, profiling, and optimizing data models in Snowflake (e.g., clustering, partitioning).
  4. Migration Support: Collaborate with data engineers to map legacy Oracle data structures to the modern Snowflake cloud data model.
  5. Documentation & Governance: Document data lineage, business rules, and technical specifications for data lifecycle management.
  6. dbt (Nice to Have): Utilize dbt (Data Build Tool) for transforming and modeling data.

Requirements
  1. Expertise in Oracle SQL and database structures.
  2. Strong experience with Snowflake data cloud, including data modeling and SQL.
