Manager of Software Platform Operations, SaaS and Oracle - Work From Home
We are looking for a Manager of Software Platform Operations. This role has strategic responsibility for the successful creation, communication, monitoring, and improvement of the technology operations process. This is a hands-on management position reporting to the Vice President of Information Technology. This position is 100% Remote.
Responsibilities:
- Manage 24x7 operations team including US based employees and offshore contractors.
- Responsible for the deployment and availability of the customer platform.
- Evaluate and establish key metrics to identify platform health.
- Daily, weekly, and monthly reporting on key metrics.
- Identify areas of opportunity to increase availability and performance of the platform.
- Develop real-time dashboards to instrument platform health.
- Lead a continuous improvement initiative to make teams more effective according to our KPIs.
- Share results and propose actions based on these initiatives.
- Serve as change management agent and lead.
- Partner with technical leadership and other key stakeholders on resource utilization and quality tracking, including reporting, KPIs and continuous utilization improvement.
- Establish consistent KPIs, rollout across verticals, manage performance to assure we consistently achieve KPIs.
- Drive a culture of standardization, automation, innovation, and collaboration.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years leadership experience in an operations management role.
- 3+ years of experience in a SaaS environment.
- Previously worked in an Oracle database environment.
- Linux administration experience is required.
- Experience with various monitoring tools covering infrastructure, database performance APM, and RUM.
- Proven stakeholder management, negotiation and relationship building experience.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
