Why this role is important to us:
This role ensures a seamless onboarding experience for our clients on SimCorp's SaaS platform. You will manage and troubleshoot Azure pipelines, align client requirements with PaaS capabilities, and drive automation through CI/CD and Infrastructure-as-Code. By leading design workshops, mentoring team members, and handling incidents within SLA, you will help deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions that are critical to our SaaS transformation and client success.

What you will be responsible for:

  • Manage and troubleshoot pipelines for client onboarding within the Azure platform.

  • Understand Platform-As-A-Service (PaaS) platform and align client requirements to existing features.

  • Identify, define and scope new features when necessary.

  • Provide weekend support as needed to ensure platform availability.

  • Lead design workshops with clients, vendors and other key stakeholders, both onsite and virtually.

  • Handle Incidents and Service requests within SLA

  • Mentor junior colleagues to foster knowledge sharing and team development.

  • Work effectively within an Agile team to deliver complex onboarding programs in a sprint-based approach.

  • Perform configuration Management and Disaster Recovery tasks on a new environment.

What we value

  • Bachelor's in Computer Science or related field (Master's is a plus) and 7-10 years of operational experience troubleshooting mission-critical software systems.

  • In-depth knowledge of Oracle Database architecture (19c), administration, troubleshooting, RCAs, performance/SQL tuning, and experience supporting applications on Oracle; ability to generate/schedule OEM reports, configure monitoring/alerts, and perform capacity planning.

  • Linux for DBAs, Shell scripting, managing large data warehouse DBs, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD pipelines, Azure DevOps for deployment automation, and willingness to learn new technologies.

  • Experience/understanding of Kubernetes and Docker; strong knowledge of monitoring/logging tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Application Insights, Grafana).

  • Incident and service request handling within SLA, collaboration with customers, effective communication, and strong ownership/accountability.

  • Team player with problem-solving mindset, proactive attitude, and ability to work in fast-paced environments.

For Toronto only: The salary range for this position is $104,240 - $143,300 CAD. Base pay may vary based on factors such as years of experience, skills and qualifications. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus and benefits including health and dental care, time off and Group RRSP/TFSA.
