Job Summary
Candidate must be able to teach Accounting courses. The preferred candidate will teach Managerial Accounting, Intermediate Accounting I and Il, Federal Income Tax , Government Accounting and
Auditing.
Essential Job Duties
- Teach Accounting courses. Accounting, Intermediate Accounting I and Il, Federal Income Tax , Government Accounting and Auditing.
- Conduct research and publish in academic Accounting, Finance, and/or Business Analytics Publications.
- Teach courses on site at Tuskegee University.
- Provide students with internship opportunities through external organizations ( NABA).
- Help students to navigate in Business models ,Block chain, and other environments.
- Introduce students to various industry strategies and prepare Accounting majors for CPA Exam.
- Participate in several university functions. These functions include convocations and annual commencement exercises.
Preferred Qualifications
- Candidate with a Ph.D/DBA in Accounting or related area from an AACSB accredited institution.
- Experience in Accounting and Auditing Sales, is preferred.
- Preferred to have scholarly academic (SA) status for AACSB standards.
- Candidate must be available to teach on site at Tuskegee University.
