THE FINANCE TEAM
The Finance Department at Portland Rescue Mission (PRM) is a group of dedicated professionals using their administrative skills for life-changing Christian ministry. Our goal is to participate in what God is doing in the lives of the men, women, and children we serve at PRM with integrity and excellence. THE POSITIONThe Seasonal Gift Processing Associate is a hands-on, critical support role in the gift processing department. This individual will be responsible for receiving and handling a large volume of financial donations with accuracy and will be energized by assisting staff and donors. The right candidate will enjoy working on a team, have exceptional customer service skills, enjoy repetitive tasks, have an eye for detail, and will be willing to assist wherever needed.
THE ESSENTIALS
  • Donors will feel honored and protected by the way PRM handles their personal data because our donor database systems are managed with accuracy, security, and integrity
  • Assist the full-time Gifts Processing Associate in the daily processing of mail and electronic gifts, which includes inputing donations into database, and preparing receipts
  • Maintain Virtuous database accuracy so that the marketing department and donor's wishes are met
  • Respond to donor and staff requests in a timely and accurate way, ensuring all experience a warm, customer-service oriented response

BACKGROUND AND QUALIFICATIONS
  • Equivalent experience
  • A personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and a testimony of continued growth in faith
