Job description

CCAR is looking for a full-time Facilitator to lead the facilitation and discussion in all CCAR-hosted offerings. Ensures the ongoing maintenance, editing, and continuous improvement of curriculum and training materials.
The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and passionate about working closely with people in recovery from alcohol and other addictions, family members, friends, and allies.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure a quality training experience for all participants while working alongside Production Team and/or In-House Facilitators.
• Utilize discretion and sound judgment to encourage participation, facilitate discussion, and keep learners focused.
• Develop techniques that maximize learner participation, comprehension, and application of the material.
• Utilize facilitator best practices for managing timing and pace, all while maintaining fidelity to the curriculum and CCAR model.
• Collaborate with In-House Facilitators and Training Team to deliver a robust schedule of offerings for both in-state & contracted participants.
• Curate online learning resources hosted on CCAR's platforms as well as resources for in-person offerings.
• Collaborate with the Facilitator Development Manager to support the needs and performance of our Facilitators, both online and in person.
• Ensure the ongoing maintenance, editing, and continuous improvement of curriculum and training materials (slide decks, manuals, facilitator guides) via feedback and emerging trends in the field.
• Evaluate learning objectives of training strategy on an ongoing basis.
• Manage session logistics for both online and in-person offerings.
• Administrative tasks will include email correspondence, maintenance of data (attendance, prework, evaluations, certificates, etc.) ensuring a consistent schedule across all platforms (Protraxx, Website, Outlook, etc.)
• Promote the CCAR deliverables to engage learners worldwide.
• Serve as an ambassador for CCAR.
• Report to the office on non-training days.
• Perform additional duties as required to support organizational needs and priorities.
Qualifications:
• Prior experience in training, facilitation and/or related field.
• Knowledge of CCAR Training Curriculum, online and in-person preferred.
• Proficiency in virtual platforms, e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams, etc.
• Exceptional computer skills including knowledge of web-based platforms, social media, website software and database management.
• Experience and comfortability on camera preferred.
• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail and ability to prioritize in fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service ethic.
• Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
• Strong time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and take initiative with varied and demanding tasks.
• Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve.
• Cultural competency and experience working with culturally diverse populations.
• Recovery Coach Professional (RCP) Designation preferred, but not required.
• Recovery Coach Professional Facilitator (RCPF) Designation preferred, but not required
• Knowledge about addiction recovery a plus.
