The Job at a Glance
As the Manufacturer Business Development Manager (internally known as PARTnership Builder) you will play an essential role in creating and building strong relationships with existing and perspective partners. You will focus on gaining insight about manufacture's areas of opportunities therefore we can identify creative solutions to meet the specific needs of each manufacturer. You will quickly become an expert opening a dialogue with manufacturers regarding the unique capabilities of Parts Town and all that we have to offer.
A Typical Day
  • Utilize various channels to identify potential manufacturer partners, introducing Parts Town's unique capabilities and distribution model to secure in person meetings for senior sales executives
  • Manage a pipeline of manufacturers to develop leads into qualified prospects
  • Maintain accurate and thorough records of the companies CRM database which includes tracking and executing follow up actions, updating prospect details, and entering all calling activity
  • Initiate and coordinate projects for existing programs to enhance our position as a trusted partner
  • Conduct research on potential manufacturers to develop an understanding of the account's business issues and other relevant information

To Land This Opportunity
  • You're an all-star communicator. Fluent in English and Spanish (both written and verbal) is required for this role.
  • You have strong consultative sales experience (4+ years of experience in inbound lead generation or phone call-initiated process sales)
  • You can demonstrate a proven track record of generating in-person meetings from self-generated leads
  • You are a resourceful self-starter, who is comfortable driving results and deadlines autonomously
  • You are passionate about building relationships and see each manufacturer interaction as an opportunity to form a personal emotional connection
  • You have strong organizational skills along with an ability to self-identify opportunities and prioritizing prospects
  • Bonus points if you have experience calling C-Level customers!
  • You have fantastic communication skills & you're proficient in English (verbal and written)

Parts Town is a pay for performance-company. In addition to base pay, some roles offer a profit-sharing program, and an annual bonus depending on the role. Our comprehensive benefits package includes health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k) with match, employee assistance programs, paid time off, paid sick time off, paid holidays, paid parental leave, and professional development opportunities.
