Troubleshoots application key selection, creation of appropriate indexes, and query needs. Perform database maintenance functions, move, rebuild, or change database objects as required in production. - 50%Proactively solves complex problems. Problem solve environmental differences and .net based applications. Translates user's needs into sound database design with tables,fields, and relationships documented. Assist in developing purge / archive criteria and procedures for historical application data on a relation model database environment. Reviews, evaluates, designs, implements and maintains company database(s). - 30%Develops database administration tools / utilities / operation procedures. Educates user and maintains database documentation. - 10%Establishes database procedures and standards; assists in database design. Documents data requirements in a logical entity relationship diagram. - 10%Tools:
