JobSummary:Reportingto the Director of Resource Development / Executive Director, the ResourceDevelopment Coordinator for Sumter County will be responsible for the planningfor and securing of the annual private giving goal for Sumter County inpartnership with the Sumter County Chapter Board, the Director of ResourceDevelopment, the Executive Director, the Resource Development AdministrativeCoordinator, and all Coalition direct service providers for Sumter County.
ResourceDevelopment:
1. Assist in the development andimplementation of the annual fundraising plan with dollar goals, objectives,and strategies for identifying, cultivating, and soliciting individual gifts,foundation grants, and corporate gifts in each of the assigned counties.
2. Assist Chapter Board members with an annualpersonal development plan.
3. Be knowledgeable of all donor historyand ensure current database donor contacts and status maintained in the donordatabase in cooperation with the Resource Development AdministrativeCoordinator
4. Identify prospective donors and secure currentcontact information
Communications:
1. Identify and develop opportunities topromote Coalition programs and success stories via social and traditionalmedia.
2. Understand all administrative systemsand procedures to appropriately track, record, report, acknowledge, andrecognize all contributions and ensure the accuracy and timelines of allfundraising, prospect, donor, and fundraising volunteer communications.
3. Assist in providing presentations tocommunity groups
4. Plan and conduct a speaker's bureautraining for volunteers in cooperation with direct services staff.
5. Provide information on special eventsfor the Coalition website and ensure information is current.
GeneralResponsibilities:
1. Participatein regularly scheduled staff meetings and staff in-service trainings.
2. Attendstaff development training as indicated by the Executive Director.
3. Cooperatewith staff to carry out the delegated responsibilities in the service of thegoals and objectives of Pee Dee Coalition.
4. Hold inconfidence all organization and donor-related information.
