Job description

Use cloud-based architecture, containerization and streaming technologies, and Python, .NET, Node, Java and SQL to design, implement and support full life-cycle data engineering projects for current and future Summary of Operations application and other Planning applications requiring large data ingestion, persistence, transformation, and retrieval. Design, develop and maintain the DB2, Oracle, MemSQL and Python code in an event driven distributed architecture. Maintain dataflow pipeline between Planning database and other data stores such as Primo, ODM and Accounting data. Resolve data quality issues in an effective and timely manner by working with multiple teams. Debug and support production issues and assist with system integration and testing. 

MINIMUM EDUCATION:                Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, IT, CIS, MIS, or a closely related degree field. 
 
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:              Five (5) years of experience as Data Engineer or as Oracle, Software, Applications or Database Engineer, Oracle, Software, Applications or Database Developer, or Oracle, Software, Applications or Database Consultant.
 
ALTERNATE EDUCATION:            Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Computer Engineering, IT, CIS, MIS, or a closely related degree field. 
 
ALTERNATE EXPERIENCE:          Three (3) years of experience as Oracle, Software, Applications or Database Engineer, Oracle, Software, Applications or Database Developer, or Oracle, Software, Applications or Database Consultant.  
 
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS:          The required experience must have included the use of SQL, Python, .NET, Node, Java, or similar data query language in the design, implementation and support of full life-cycle data engineering projects and event-driven and cloud-based architectures. 

Position will be filled at level commensurate with experience
